Nigerian singer and songwriter Qing Madi reconnects with British-Nigerian DJ and producer DJames on a new single titled “Can’t Wait.” The song brings the two artists together once again following their earlier collaboration, “Love Me,” which appeared on DJames’ Grateful EP.
Released in October 2026, “Can’t Wait” continues Qing Madi’s run of new music while giving listeners another opportunity to hear her distinctive vocal style alongside DJames’ production approach.
The song carries an easygoing musical character, with current coverage describing a mid-tempo groove and a relaxed Afro-R&B atmosphere. This gives Qing Madi space to deliver the record without the instrumental overwhelming her vocals.
