Tanzanian singer Hidden Bway, also known as Abduli Jumanne, returns with a fresh Bongo Flava and Afro-R&B single titled “Mkipostiana.”
The song, released in October 2026, explores the increasingly important role that social media plays in modern relationships, turning online relationship culture into a contemporary Swahili-language musical story.
The title “Mkipostiana” can be understood as “when you post each other,” referring to the way couples publicly share pictures, moments and expressions of affection on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Through the song, Hidden Bway examines both the excitement and concerns that can come with displaying a relationship publicly.
For listeners who enjoy Swahili music that reflects contemporary relationships, social media and everyday culture, “Mkipostiana” offers a timely and relatable addition to the Bongo Flava landscape.
