Tanzanian gospel ensemble Neema Gospel Choir returns with a fresh studio rendition of their worship song “Dhahabu,” featuring gospel minister Godliver Godian.

Released on October 2, 2026, the new version brings a studio treatment to a song that the choir had previously presented as a live recording in 2025. The title, “Dhahabu,” is the Swahili word for “Gold,” and the song uses the process of gold being refined through fire as a powerful picture of how difficult seasons can strengthen and refine a believer’s faith.

With Godliver Godian joining the choir on vocals, the new version expands the worship atmosphere while preserving the central message of trusting God through trials, waiting on His promises, and believing that difficult experiences can ultimately produce spiritual growth.

Whether the difficulty involves personal struggles, family circumstances, financial pressure, disappointment or uncertainty about the future, the song encourages listeners to maintain their faith through the process.
